As you are aware, there is presently an export restriction in place by the Indian government concerning all non-basmati rices.
In light of this development, there has been a noticeable increase in public concern, particularly regarding rice purchases.
At Thanima Fresh, we aim to handle this situation responsibly by implementing limitations on rice purchases per customer. This approach allows us to extend support to those in need rather than catering solely to excessive demands. We strongly encourage our valued customers to act responsibly in their rice purchases as well.
Although increased sales could benefit our business, we believe it is essential to prioritize responsible actions and contribute positively to the prevailing circumstances.
Please find below our policy for rices
- Limitation on rice purchases: Each customer is allowed to purchase only one bag of rice.
- Order cancellation for multiple rice orders: Placing multiple orders for rice will not be permitted, and any such orders will be canceled.
- Price adjustments: The prices of rice on our website have been increased due to significant increases in wholesale costs, primarily attributed to the rice export ban.
- Stock updates: We will provide timely updates on our website or through our Whatsapp group regarding the availability of new rice stocks.
- Delivery timeframe: Customers are requested not to delay the delivery of rice-containing orders by more than one week, as there may be individuals in urgent need of the product.
